From TFW Wiki
The Fury Within (TFW for short) is a MOD of famous computer game Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Date back to 2001-2002, it was one of the most popular MODs base on LoD. The development of TFW project had been shelved for years since 2002. When Blizzard had renewed their patch for LoD in 2005, a new project of TFW has been growing with new MOD developers.

Story
In Diablo II Lord Of Destruction, You continue on and follow the path of Baal, The last of the Prime Evils and the brother of Diablo. The quest to destroy Baal leads into the Barbarian Highlands of the north. The Lord of destruction intends to corrupt the powerful Worldstone, which protects the whole of the mortal plane from forces of Hell. It will be up to you to defeat Baal and stop the forces of evil before they turn the world into a permanent hell on earth.
In defeating the Prime Evils you must first defeat the ancients who guarded the way to the Worldstone. These are their words:
“We are the spirits of the Nephalem, the Ancient Ones. We have been chosen to guard sacred Mount Arreat, wherein the Worldstone rests. Few are worthy to stand in its presence; fewer still can comprehend its true purpose. Before you enter, you must defeat us.."
